This poster was designed to promote the legendary Halloween celebration put into production at Greenfield Village. Every year, they throw special events during the Halloween season for both adults and kids. Costumes are welcome, and it is a festive and enjoyable event for all. I wanted to capture the essence and spirit of Halloween in an artistic way - utilizing the classic Halloween colors of black, white, and orange.
I added texture to the font to further emulate a spooky vibe. Greenfield Village is older and historical, it naturally has a bit of a spooky vibe itself - I wanted to communicate this through the font choice. I selected words relating to Halloween but also related to the activities put on by Greenfield Village during the month of October. I made sure to include the dates as well, as any good advertisement for a special event would.
