For the purposes of this project, I have decided to hone my focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder-oftentimes, referred to as ADHD. While most of us are familiar with the term ADHD, most do not truly conceptualize what it means on neuropsychological level. ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopment disorders of childhood. Children with ADHD may have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (they may act without thinking about what the result or consequences of their actions will be), or overly active. Some individuals might say having ADHD can make you imperfect; I sought to represent this imperfection within my project by making parts of my words unique. Rather than thinking of any mental health disorder or learning differences as forms of imperfection, I believe they make our minds unique.
