This project reflected challenging societal stigmas regarding marriage. The collage reflects imagery of the LGBTQ community and minority groups, a reflection of the ways the world is learning to embrace all people and all forms of love today. This project challenged the creator to use a series of images representing a meaningful concept.
As an abstract work combining a variety of images depicting love and commitment, a few images represent challenging societal norms including dowries, women looking to marry a man for the sole purpose of money, and marrying someone of a different religion or cultural background.
